The food is a real highlight of the retreat experience. Fresh, vibrant, creative and served with love – the food is so good it even features in a published cookbook. You’ll also have the chance to explore the local award-winning restaurants and Jo, our nutrition advisor, runs nutrition and cooking workshops so you can carry on the good (and delicious) work back home.
After the morning session you will sit down to a delicious homemade brunch including fresh fruit salad, homemade marmalades, homemade bread, homemade yogurt, homemade muesli and homemade granola, a hot dish of the day (eggs, pancakes, porridge) and a choice of drinks including water, coffee, tea and herbal tea.
Five delicious and healthy evening meals are included within the cost of the course. The evening meals are bursting with flavour and completely in line with the retreat philosophy of providing vibrant, holistic food that guests are inspired to make back home.
What type of food is it?
The cooking is vegetarian with some vegan and gluten-free options.

Will I get to try the local food?
On the remaining evenings you are free to enjoy the nearby award-winning tapas and seafood restaurants – retreat participants normally head out as a group to enjoy a meal out together. There are also self-catering facilities at the villa should you prefer to stay in and prepare something for yourself.
