This luxury yoga retreat itinerary includes vinyasa (flowing asana sequences), hands-on adjustments, pranayama, restorative classes, and deep relaxation.
Rachel will also take you on guided excursions, to a beautiful ancient Banyan Tree temple for a day you will never forget. You will also take a day out to visit Portugese colonial mansions to see what Goa was like at the height of its opulence. You also have the opportunity to visit a local spice market and enjoy some of Goa’s most beautiful beaches. This retreat is a perfect opportunity to experience India, an all-round experience for body, mind and soul.
Rachel is dedicated, passionate, and incredibly intuitive. Her classes can be flowing and challenging or can also integrate restorative techniques to allow you to let go and drift into deep relaxation, giving your body and mind time to reconnect and restore.
The spaces in this retreat are limited to a maximum group size of 10-12, for a fun and intimate luxury yoga retreat experience.

I was apprehensive about my fitness and flexibility and also about going vegetarian for a week. After the first day my fears were laid to rest. After this one week of intensive yoga I have improved dramatically and intend to keep it up. The food was second to none. I never felt hungry and the flavours and textures were amazing. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and they are a mine of useful local information. I’m definitely converted and we’ll be back for more. Thank you for a great life changing week.

About your teacher
Rachel discovered her love and passion for yoga many moons ago during her previous life as a Youth and Community ‘Street Worker’
With a life long love of sport and being active Rachel found that Yoga not only made her feel amazing physically but it did something magic to her mind and gave her the tools she needed to cope with the pressures of her job. It wasn’t long before yoga became her full time passion and full time career choice! It became clear that being a yoga teacher and youth worker had many similarities… Supporting and guiding people to explore and develop their full potential!!
Rachel loves to encourage playfulness and wonder within her yoga practice, her classes and life. She has been teaching full time since 2006, hosting her own retreats and exploring the world. Rachel is from The Midlands in the UK, she has recently spent 18 months in India and is now enjoying the calm and peaceful lifestyle in beautiful Fuerteventura and loving teaching at Azulfit.
You can expect to practice anything from Hatha to Vinyasa to Yin to Partner Yoga and all with a few laughs along the way.
All morning classes are followed by brunch at 9:30, evening meals are served at 19:00.

A beautifully restored 200 year old mansion that has been transformed into a luxurious setting for leisure and pleasure, set amidst a legacy of a glorious past. Characteristic Indo-Portuguese mansion layout with rooms arranged around a central open courtyard. The shuttered oyster shell windows, illuminate and offer privacy. All of the rooms have high ceilings constructed in teak wood with terracotta tiles, that maintain the cool environment. In addition the three bedrooms along with the large en-suite bathrooms, and the media room are air-conditioned.
The Villa Goa is situated in a large sub-tropical private garden with a stunning infinity swimming pool, and offers comfortable uncluttered interiors that bring together an eclectic blend of contemporary and traditional design. The European chef offers superb Mediterranean cuisine
The location is close to the beaches in North Goa and gifted with natural beauty, temperate climate and lies in a valley clothed in cashew groves. There are beauty and well-being treatments & classes available that include; Ayurveda and Yoga, along with Relaxation and Alternative/Complementary Healing Therapies.

Mediterranean recipes using top quality ingredients when they are at their seasonal best. Fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs & spices. Healthy ingredients inspire the chef’s repertoire of delicious dishes.
To start the day freshly squeezed juice, muesli, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, homemade breads & marmalade, and from the Indian plantations, coffee & tea.
For dinner a different fixed is offered everyday that is tailored to your diet. For example an evening meal begins with watermelon salad. Perhaps baked sea bass stuffed with herbs served in it’s own jus with potatoes and roasted peppers. Desserts include dark chocolate truffle and caramelized upside down pear pie.
To complement your meal we store a selection of award winning Indian and imported wines.
