This retreat week will help you deepen your practice with two leading expert teachers dedicated to supporting you and your growth. Set in a retreat village paradise this is an experience of a lifetime, a chance to immerse in your practice, eat delicious vegetarian cuisine and luscious exoctic fruit and be utterly at peace.
About the instructors
Valentina is an experienced, caring and inspiring teacher. She started her yoga practice in 2005 and after few years she travelled through India to learn classical Hatha yoga techniques. In 2012 she started to practice Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and since then she has maintained a steady daily self practice. During these years of travel she has studied yoga philosophy extensively and has practiced and studied with senior teachers Matthew Sweeney, Mark Robberds, Sharon Gannon and David Life. She has developed her own way to transmit to her students what she has learned in her yoga journey. She is a certified Jivamukti yoga teacher, and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher.
Focused on women’s empowerment and animal liberation, Valentina believes in compassion in action and freedom for all beings.
Jo is an advanced practitioner and inspiring Pilates teacher. Her classes focus strongly on understanding correct form, body awareness and body synergy, giving students the understanding and skill to progress in their Pilates safely and quickly.
Jo’s passion for fitness and overall wellbeing shine through in all that she does, and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.
Desa Seni is located in a beautiful Canggu.
Between classes there is plenty to do. Enjoy all the luxuries of the incredible retreat facilities – take a dip in saltwater pool or enjoy a traditional Balinese therapy.
Visit one of the local beaches or nearby temples, or visit the local market in the nearby town to experience all the sights and sounds of Bali!
There’s lots to do and you will have plenty of free time to just relax with a book or get active and explore – the choice is yours!
Rooms and Prices
There are single private rooms available, double rooms and triple rooms. Prices start from 1250 EUR for a shared room. All rooms are of an extremely high standard, formerly classical wooden Indonesian homes imported from all over Bali to make an artistic Village resort.
The Village Cabin is the smallest house, for a single person, with a queen bed, a private bathroom and rain shower, a lovely front porch and a private garden, located very close to the pool.
The Shared Houses have 2 private bedrooms and 2 private bathrooms. The common space is a shared living room with wonderful outdoor spaces. These houses have lovely views of the tropical lush gardens. You will have private use of one bedroom and bathroom and share the common space with another person.
The Village Houses have 1 bedroom with a king bed only, and a private bathroom with rain shower. Great old charm and comfort, furnished with antique art objects and furniture. A beautiful front porch offers views of our organic farming, surrounded by beautiful gardens.

After each morning session, enjoy delicious and filling breakfast/ brunch prepared and served with love by the Desa Seni team.
We offer six inclusive evening meals in your week to energise, revitalise and nourish, for a delicious, balancing week. A great chance to detox from the normal day to day diet and to enjoy the delicious retreat food, and also spend time with like minded guests. Delish!
