Pilates
For the Pilates lovers enjoy 2 daily Barre, or Pilates and core strength workouts with our two experienced and caring teachers, Laerke and Jo.
Each session will connect you to your core and take you deeper into your practice to feel confident and strong in your practice.
Barre
To add to the Pilates core connections, Laerke and Jo will be sharing fun and invigirating Barre classes. Inspired from ballet, Barre is a great workout that tones and strengthens whilst bringing a fun and joyful feeling to everyone.
Friends & Fun
One of the best things about sharing movement in the sunshine is that it brings like minded souls together. Whether you’re looking for solitude or community, htte joy of moving together in a fun group energy is amazing. All it needs is a great teacher to bring you together and lead the fun, and this week is blessed with the power of 2! Make lifelong friendships in the sunshine on this amazing retreat week!

Meet your teachers

Jo Dombernowsky
Pilates Teacher & Nutrition Advisor
Having studied nutrition for many years, Jo knows the power of food to improve health, energy and wellbeing and prepares her meals to do exactly that. She loves to pass on her knowledge and passion for food throughout the retreat and in her amazing cookbook, ‘Truly Healthy, Truly Delicious‘.
Jo is also an advanced practitioner and inspiring instructor of Stott Pilates. Her classes focus strongly on understanding correct form, body awareness and body synergy, giving students the understanding and skill to progress in their Pilates safely and quickly.
Jo’s passion for fitness and overall wellbeing shine through in all that she does, and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.

Laerke Heilmann
Pilates & Barre Teacher
Laerke
Laerke is an amazing and inspiring character. Classes with her are fun and focused, and leave us feeling empowered and uplifted.
Laerke is passionate about Pilates and Barre and her energy is infectious. Every student will feel inspired and confident as their Pilates and movement practice grows.
Currently touring and sharing her role in the amazing cross Atlantic sailing journey documentary “Women & The Wind”, Laerke is excited to take this time to share her love of movement and life with our guests.
