We understand that the holiday season also means family commitments, office parties and the pressure of gift shopping. This week is designed to bring you the space to find calm and relaxation as well as learn breathing and mindfulness techniques to reduce stress. We’ll also help with the gift ideas by hosting our favourite local artisans in a seasonal market (retreat style) and take a moment to make our own cards whilst relaxing with a warm coco (the best seasonal vibes).

Meet your teachers

Charlotte Mulvany

I believe that everyone has capacity to take control over the shape, meaning and quality of their life. That we can be strong, healthy, happy and adaptive at any age. So my role as a teacher is not only to plant the seeds of practice, but to also create the right environment in which those seeds flourish and I’ve seen that best happen in an open space where kindness, positivity and laughter prevail.

Having completed 200hrs Hatha, 300 hours Mixed Modalities, 100 hours Myofascial Yin Yoga and Mindfulness, various anatomical courses and Meditation Teacher Training, I’m still learning. My most valuable learning experiences have occurred in the studio with Azulfit guests. What has captured me here is the emphasis on play, fun, warmth and the freedom to experiment and grow.

My teaching style emphasises curiosity and connection. Yoga classes are designed to empower and energise and create an amazing feeling in your body, whilst giving space for mental focus and calm. Meditation classes I offer as a very personalised experience, using a toolkit of different practices to empower you to relieve stress, anxiety, grief, pain, cultivate concentration and compassion or simply to find the peace and tranquillity of stillness and quiet.

Lindsey Todd

My love of yoga began 20 plus years ago. When I found myself in New Zealand surrounded by a group of high vibing Yogis my whole world changed. Finding a connection to the body and mind in a way I had never experienced before. Always feeling better coming off the mat and letting go of anything that no longer served. I found I had a place to go that has served me my whole life. This started me on my journey of self-development within my Yoga practice and ultimately led me to becoming a Yoga teacher.
I have completed training with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), BSY and Yoga Alliance. Loving any opportunity to deepen my knowledge and understanding of our Yoga practice. For many years I have worked as a UK registered nurse. My nursing background enables me to have a unique way of observing the body. Everyone is different. Everyone has their own challenges in different ways. Always approaching practice with kindness and a loving heart. I love to teach varied styles from a strong vinyasa to a chilled restorative or Yin class. There’s space for them all at different times. My goal for you in your practice is to help you create space within your body and mind and to deepen your personal practice.

Jo Dombernowsky

Pilates Teacher & Nutrition Advisor
Jo Dombernowsky is in charge of the menu at the retreat and inspires us all with her ability to make really healthy food taste really good.

Having studied nutrition for many years, Jo knows the power of food to improve health, energy and wellbeing and prepares her meals to do exactly that. She loves to pass on her knowledge and passion for food throughout the retreat and in her amazing cookbook, ‘Truly Healthy, Truly Delicious‘.

Jo is also an advanced practitioner and inspiring instructor of Stott Pilates. Her classes focus strongly on understanding correct form, body awareness and body synergy, giving students the understanding and skill to progress in their Pilates safely and quickly.

Jo’s passion for fitness and overall wellbeing shine through in all that she does, and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.

Tanya Özcerkes

Pilates Teacher

Tanya is our Pilates teacher and also leads the nourishing and restorative sound baths. 

Tanya brings fun and energy to every class. An experienced Pilates teacher and a true yogi in both practice and lifestyle. Tanya brings a sense of balance and community to every class, mixing in just the right amount of play and fun with depth and understanding. 

Tanya also shares an incredible Sound Bath healing experience using crystal bowls, as well as a teacher of Pilates reformer sessions.
