Jivamukti yoga is a playful, challenging flow yoga that will take your yoga practice much deeper. This ever-popular jivamukti yoga retreat includes vinyasa (flowing asana sequences), hands-on adjustments, pranayama, restorative classes, theory, meditation, guided chanting (don’t worry, it’s fun!) and deep relaxation. To keep the practice inspiring, asana sequences are ever-changing with music playing an integral role in the class. Jivamukti is both physical and spiritual, giving an all-round experience for body, mind and soul.
Led by Andrea Everingham, this is an unmissable opportunity to learn from one of Jivamukti's most talented instructors. Andrea gives wonderful adjustments and support for practitioners at all levels, so you will really feel your yoga advance during this week. Her teaching style is dedicated, passionate, hand-on, high energy and very fun - a laugh is never far away in her classes. The effect is uplifting, opening and exhilarating. She balances this with wonderful yin classes and yoga therapy that allows you to let go and drift into deep relaxation, giving your body and mind time to reconnect and restore.
About the Instructor
Andrea is the founder of OneYoga Studio in Manchester and a regular contributor to ‘Ask The Expert’ (Manchester Evening News). She combines her many years of experience studying and working with the human body and movement with an in-depth study of nutrition and raw foods and their impact on overall wellbeing.
She joins the Azulfit team in the Fuerteventura sunshine with her natural and empathetic teaching style and infectious enthusiasm. Her holistic and sophisticated approach of total body, mind and spirit integration is as accessible to those new to yoga as it is challenging for the more practiced yogi.
Naturally approachable and caring, her passion is to bring the joy and release of yoga to her students. Her captivating, warm and energetic approach continues to attract a strong following of committed yogis both in her studio and through retreats and teacher trainings across the globe.
A new convert!
I was apprehensive about my fitness and flexibility and also about going vegetarian for a week. After the first day my fears were laid to rest. The instructor Andrea Everingham was brilliant. Ably assisted by Ruth they made sure I missed out on nothing. If it was too technical or difficult they always came up with an alternative. The rest of the group were great too. Everybody helped each other. After this one week of intensive yoga I have improved dramatically and intend to keep it up. The food was second to none. I never felt hungry and the flavours and textures were amazing. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and they are a mine of useful local information. I'm definitely converted and we'll be back for more. Thank you for a great life changing week.

This special retreat week takes place at Surya Retreat in Fuerteventura. The villa is beautifully situated nestled amongst the volcanoes with views to the sea. Offering different levels of accommodation to suit all budgets, we are sure to have the perfect place for you to lay your head.
A delicious daily vegan / vegetarian brunch is served after the morning session. Light, delicious vegetarian lunches are provided for you to takeaway or enjoy by the pool. Five delicious and healthy evening meals are included.
The retreat food is so popular it is available as a cookbook and you have the opportunity to learn more about cooking and nutrition in a fun and highly recommended workshop with the inspirational Jo.
